Decided to go for a run with the dogs today before I have to go baby sit at 4:30. The dogs started off good, they were moving fast. I had planned to do 4 miles with this team, and then 8 with the other given the time that I had. I decided to take them up Lemrick; a nice hilly road because they needed the practice and then I was gong to swing back and take Grimms home. The run went great until the turn onto Grimms Road. The dogs just would not taking it, so there I am in the middle of a 4 way intersection trying to get the dogs to go haw, when I see are car come over the hill in the distance. That meant he will be here in less than 30 seconds when suddenly the dogs decided that it is a great idea to go gee. Well whatever direction I am getting them away from this car coming over a blind hill. So long story short, we ended up going 12 miles instead of 4. But the dogs kept trucking the whole way, and with stops included we were going about 8 miles per hour, not bad considering they have never gone that distance before.
