Earlier in the year, I took my senior photos. I decided to take some with Chipmunk, since she is my trusty leader and I seem to love her a lot more than Dingo. Here are some of the ones I received back.

Wednesday, the 13th is Carlleen's 18th Birthday!! Wish her a happy birthday Hey all! This past weekend I ran at the Dirty Dog race in Pearson WI! It was fun, and I really pushed myself hard to compete. There are some pretty good runners that I compete against, and I myself am not a distance runner. Now, I am not making excuses, but I had a pretty tiring weekend. You see, at 4:30 Saturday morning I had gotten back into Green Bay from Kentucky. On that bus ride home, I only got about 2 hours of sleep. Then, I slept all the way up to the race sight, giving me about 4 hours of sleep for the day. I slept for 20 minutes before my race, and woke up with 9 minutes til my race. I quickly got myself and Chipmunk ready, ran over to the starting line and prepared to take off. I didn't really stretch, and was still tired. I came in dead last that day, a second behind the person in front of me. Now, for day two. I got more sleep, but was sore when I woke up. My mom and I slept in the back of the SUV that we drove up there, and that is not comfortable at all. I was sore from the day before still too. In fact, I am really sore today yet. Day 2 was better, I came in 5th but didn't make up much time to improve my standings at all. I am proud of Chipmunk for constantly pushing me even tho I wanted to walk, and for keeping the line tight the whole way and ignoring the other dogs next to us. I plan on doing the Willow Springs Dryland race, which is 12 days away yet!! I don't know what events I plan on running, I guess it depends on what we are driving for a vehicle and what all I can 1 20 Rachael Colbath 00:08:47.95 00:08:44.36 00:17:32.31 2 21 Chystal Tholen 00:09:05.20 00:09:04.75 00:18:09.95 3 22 Niina Baum 00:11:06.54 00:10:51.14 00:21:57.68 4 24 Janine Sajdak 00:11:14.41 00:11:02.50 00:22:16.91 5 25 Jessica Pulliam 00:12:06.25 00:12:33.39 00:24:39.64 6 23 Carlleen Brehmer 00:12:07.21 00:12:32.89 00:24:40.10 |
